Violence in islam

Way there are a lot of verses in island in Quran?

When we really understand the quran we see some kinds of verses in contrary of unbelievers and heathens

1- some verses order the prophet and believers to be patient in front of unbelievers and heathens .like:

فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ .... Chapter taha- verse 130

bear then patiently what they say…

2- some verses order the believers to munificence and ignore the mischief and inconvenience of unbeliever like:

وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّاراً حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُواْ وَاصْفَحُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ .. Chapter baghareh - verse 109

many of the followers of the book wish that they could turn you back into unbelievers after your faith, out of envy from themselves, (even) after the truth has become manifest to them; but pardon and forgive, so that allah should bring about his command…

3- some verses order the believers keep themselves to pour their blood like:

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ Chapter nisa – verse 77…

have you not seen those to whom it was said: withhold your hands, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate…

4- in the last time some verse orders believers to militate and fight against disbelievers like:

وَقَاتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلاَ تَعْتَدُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبِّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ. Chapter baghareh - verse- 190

and fight in the way of allah with those who fight with you

وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ تُقَاتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ فَإِن قَاتَلُوكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ كَذَلِكَ جَزَاء الْكَافِرِينَ. Verse- 191

and kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the sacred mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such

وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ.. verse- 193

and fight with them until there is no persecution

So when we really research this verse we will find that this verse revealed when the disbelievers and heathens decided to swap the believers from their home and decided to kill them.

Some prophets that not had more believers they was not able to defend theme self so they was forced to be tolerant there enemies oppression
But when the prophet got force in the contrary of there enemies like our prophet mohammad( pease be up on him ) when he pick a lot of followers he used force against unbelievers .
